Fabergé Fabulosity. What could be more fabulous than a lavish cookie design that doesn’t require the artistic skill of Da Vinci or Monet, or a lifetime of practice? Not much! The intricate patterns on these eggs are the result of spreading icing over easy-to-find cookie stencils. (There’s nothing hard about this; just be sure your icing is at the right consistency and the underlying topcoat is completely dry before you start stenciling.) Julia added a few (purely optional) icing embellishments on the tops and simple trailing star borders around the edges, but otherwise nothing you see here was piped freehand.
