Cinco de Mayo Cookies in Process. A combination of festive medallions and rectangles that resemble papel picado (cutout paper banners) are just about ready for this springtime celebration! Both cookies take advantage of the stenciling technique, and are enhanced with other simple piped details, such as lines and dots. The rectangles will eventually be strung on ribbons and hung over Julia’s tabletop (which explains the two holes cut in their tops).
