Coming Live to You from Brazil!

As I'm in the midst of last-minute flight re-booking for the above course (yikes, I leave tomorrow!), I'll be keeping this newsletter especially to the point. My spring and summer have been jammed with fun new cookie exploits, including the one above - my first live-streamed video course, which will be simultaneously translated from English into Spanish and Portuguese! The even cooler news is that it live-streams for FREE from July 27 to 29. After that, you can purchase all nine hours of instruction for a nominal fee. Hint, hint. ;) For more information about the course, click here. And if you can't make it, I sincerely hope this newsletter leads you to other cookie adventures!

Live sweetly,

Julia Signature

Feature

Cookie Collaboration.

Recently, my YouTube besties and I collaborated on a series of videos using SugarVeil lace in new and different ways on cookies! And what a grand time we had! (These fancy filigree boxes were my contribution.)

Many thanks to Michele Hester, SugarVeil founder, for bringing this opportunity to us.

Fun

Cookie Decorating Classes.

Not long after my teaching trip to Israel in May (photo, right), I started prep for my eduK classes (above). Next up, cookie demos in Buenos Aires, followed by a full course line-up across the globe through 2016, including such exciting destinations as Costa Rica, China, Indonesia, and Greece!

Fanfare

NEW Decorating Technique!

Hate messy icing mixing and clean-up? Yeah, so do I! That's why I've been experimenting with tinted textured dough effects, like this lizard skin, that involve no icing!
