A Holiday Community Cookie Collection

It’s been a particularly active cookie decorating season out there in cookie land! I know - I’ve seen a number of amazing projects from my online cookie friends, and I too have been decorating like mad in order to have enough flashy cookies to share in my holiday cookie decorating classes. Before you wrap up your creations and swap them at cookie exchanges or allow your friends and family to devour them, I hope you’ll share your holiday cookie spirit here! And because this is a gift-giving time of year, I’ve decided to sweeten this link-up with a prize: the cookie with the most likes (mine excluded, of course) by the end of Christmas Day (12 am central time, 12/26/2012) will win a copy of my new cookie decorating DVD!

To get us started, I’ve launched this link-up with a few cookies made for my classes: a collection of Santas, a cardinal and poinsettia needlepoint, a Christmas scene that’s supposed to look like a woodcut . . . Remember, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa . . . all are fine to post, as long as the cookie fits the winter holiday theme, it’s yours, and you’re willing to share it.

But, before you enter, please read these posting instructions to learn more about why these collections exist and how they operate, and remember to upload your own work.

As I mentioned before, this month’s theme is something we all have top of mind: Happy Holidays!

Trouble with any technical aspects of this collection? Direct those questions to Linky Tools; otherwise, shoot me an email and I’ll do my best to help out.

Live sweetly, as I say,

Julia M. Usher

GRACIAS
